irst Things First: There is no "We" or "Us"
  AmericanPCHelp.com is a one man shop. After a decade as a professional tech support specialist for other companies, I am now offering the same services directly to the public. I work alone, but I will often use "We" or "Us" on the website because it sounds better. In those cases, I am referring to myself and the cat.
 
  My name is Mike Sargent. I have spent the last ten years as an Installation/Customer Support Tech at a dialup Internet Service Provider and as a Programmer, Webmaster, Jack-of-All-Trades, and Customer Support Tech at a small Web Hosting and Software company. I have helped hundreds of customers with PC problems ranging from bad passwords to total system crashes, and everything in between.
 
  I grew up in Oklahoma, and have been an Internet/PC support specialist for over a decade.
What does this mean to you?

1.  I probably know the answer.
 
2.  I can tell it to you without sounding like I'm speaking Martian.
 
  Who am I? ... I'm the tech the customers always asked for first when they called in with a problem. I'm the guy who often had a bigger crowd around his desk in the software classes than the instructor did.
There are reasons for those things.
 
  Do I know everything about the Internet? Of course not.
Can I guarantee to solve every computer problem? Nope.
Can I solve your current PC or Internet issue? Probably. In fact, chances are very good that I have heard it, and solved it, maybe many times, before it happenned to you.
 
  And if I don't know it, I'll find it. Somebody else will probably have the same problem tomorrow, anyway.
 
  And if your issue happens to be one of those that simply cannot be solved with a phone call, I can help you find your next likely source of help.
